Several Japanese language books have been brought to Anna University under Japanese Library donation programme. Native language teachers were brought from Japan and France to teach languages in Anna University through the grants of respective governments.

Enhanced the admission of foreign and NRI students through single window transparent admission and increased the revenue of Centre for International Affairs, Anna University, from less than rupees one crore to rupees 36 crores by increasing students admission strength to over nine hundred within four years.
