GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER AND INNOVATION AWARD


  • The faculty members who are selected for Innovation award are not eligible for nomination again in future in the same category. However, they would be eligible for nomination after five years for Technology Transfer award.
  • Nominations can be made as self nomination basis or by a Professor more than 10 years of experience and the hard copy with documents of evidence should be submitted to Director, CTDT through HOD / Director of the Department / Centre.
  • The nominations shall be evaluated and shortlisted by a committee constituted by the Vice-Chancellor / Convener Committee. Final selection will be made by a panel of external experts nominated by the Vice-Chancellor / Convener committee.

  • Step 1: Fill up the general details and upload the recent photo (20kb - 50kb)
  • Step 2: Fill up the technical details and enclose with the check list. Please upload the PDF format of the technical write up and other relevant details .
  • Step 3: Submit the filled in details form.
  • Step 4: The final application should be signed by the applicant and submitted to the Director CTDT through HOD / Director with necessary attachments and Technical write up.

Eligibility & Conditions for Technology Transfer Award 2018
Prize money: Rs. 75,000 /-
Definition: Successful design and / or development of product / process that has been transferred to the industry / client / user and is utilized by them / society
Prize money: Rs. 75,000 /-

If an award goes to a team, each team member shall be given the memento and citation listing out the names of all team members and the cash award shall be shared among them

Eligibility:
  • Faculty member(s) who are regular employees of the University and have carried out the work leading to Technology Transfer are eligible for nomination to the Technology Transfer awards.
  • Applicant(s) can be a single member or a team of members.
  • The period of claim for the award will be five academic years prior to the year of the award i.e. Technology Transfer should have been carried out within a minimum five year period. For the year 2018, the period between 2013 to 2017 is to be only considered.
  • The work should have been carried out at the University with or without the support from industry or sponsoring agency.
  • The Technology Transfer should have been made to industry / community and documented / certified by the industry or user community.

Prize money: Rs. 75,000 /-
Definition: Design and development of a product / process / technique which is yet to reach the customer, but has the potential leading to commercial / socio-economic benefit.
Prize money: Rs. 75,000 /-
Prize money: Rs. 50,000 /-

Eligibility:
  • Faculty member(s) who are regular employees of the University and have designed and developed a product / process / technique which is yet to reach the customer are eligible for nomination of Innovation awards.
  • Scientist(s) employed in projects / PPP centres are eligible to apply for innovation award only.
  • Applicant(s) can be a single member or a team of members.
  • The period of claim for the award will be five academic years prior to the year of the award i.e. Innovation should have been carried out within a minimum five year period. For the year 2018, the period between 2013 to 2017 is to be only considered.
  • The work should have been carried out at the University with or without the support from industry or sponsoring agency.
